Supporting high school students – 2020

Since 2011 we have been supporting several students with fellowships at the Bishop Mazzoldi Secondary School.
The commitment lasts four years of secondary school.
The students come from the slums near Kware, Gataka, Bangladesh and Olekasasi where the poverty levels are very high. The majority of the young people in this area live on the road because their tutor parents cannot afford to provide them with any education. By the way, most of them are smart, focused and self-taught, but come from very poor families that cannot lead them or send them to secondary school.
Our fellowships work in the same usual way; therefore we accept students from the slums who are willing to study and work hard.
The amount of a fellowship for a student for a year is 500 euros and includes tuition, a meal a day, the uniform (compulsory for schools in Kenya), the books and the annual trip.
